WP-NUKE FOR PHP-Nuke:
=====================

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. 

Base Requirements
-----------------

In order to setup WP-NUKE for PHP-Nuke the folowing prerequisits are necessary.

- PHP-NUKE 7.x installed (versions above 7.4 were not tested)
- Apache Web Server (http://www.apache.org)
- PHP version 4.2.x or better (mod_php) Apache module (http://www.php.net)
- MySQL database server (http://www.mysql.com)



Installing the Package
----------------------

Unzip the package into the usual directories.

Now login as admin, and run wpinstall.php (it must be on the root dir of your server). In the last step, the
script offers the option to import the current PHP-Nuke users into the new user management system. It is probably a
good choice to use this facility. However if you are not familiar with the implications (see Note 1 below), it is probably 
better if you import your current users with a "user level" of zero (you can always change that latter). PHP-Nuke super-users
will be imported with an admin (user level == 10) status.

Open the 'wpnuke.mod' file, and follow the instructions (don't forget to backup the affected files first!).

Test the wpnuke module as admin (the wpstyle.css file, created during the MOD install may require adjustements).

Activate the wpnuke module.

That should be all!!

Note 1: Keep in mind that a "user" is slightly different in PHP-Nuke and in WORDPRESS: PHP-Nuke defines users and admins.
WORDPRESS only defines users, each having a different "user level". A WORDPRESS user with a user level equal to 10 is the same
as a PHP-Nuke super-user. A WORDPRESS user with a user level equal to zero cannot do anything but update his/hers own profile!

Note 2: If you are using a security system for PHP-Nuke, like Nuke Sentinel (http://www.nukescripts.net), you may need
to adjust some of the settings, in order to allow the xml responders to work properly. This is a very sensitive issue,
so, no advice will be given. Make sure you consider this point!
