Script Kiddies |
For those of you who knew technology, do
you remember back in the day when AOL
was the latest rage and everyone would
use IM to chat (still do) but through
AOL. Those technical would have some
programs or proggies as they called them
which would allow you to sniff (capture
data), punt (kick a user offline),
spoof/ghost (pose as another person)
LOL. I was just thinking about all the
crap I "didn't" do. :-P Yea that was
back in the day when everyone tried to
be cool and be a script kiddie to see
who had better hacks and be l33t. This
was still in the early ages of l33t
speak however and words such as pwn,
h4x, and j00 were not even in the social
vocabularies of all those mindless 12-14
year old's.
I still remember when I "didn't" use
proggies such as Sub Seven, and
backorifice, which are backdoor trojans
with control applications. Send a random
person from school a simple "game" like
wack-a-mole with a trojan binded into
the .exe (the game file). Then use the
control app to open and close their
cd-rom, look at their screen, control
their mouse, play songs, open up
webpages, and pretty much have complete
control over their system and freak the
hell out of them.
Well all I can say is I have just had a
blast from the past and now you have too
with my little remember when / back in
the day blog. What triggered this is one
of my friends Andrew. Have a read.

Apartment. Summer Fun. Classes.

Well spring semester is almost over and
a lot has happened! The apartment is
almost completely set to go. Only thing
left to do is go and actually sign the
lease but all of the financial,
employment verification and etc have
checked out. Hopefully that will go down
on Monday.
I also have to start shopping for
furniture, I've never really been into
getting furniture before. Just as long
as I have the essentials but I went to
Ikea the the other day with Michelle and
found my dream bedroom set and office
area. It's going to get expensive but I
can't wait! My Dad is going to help out
with building a bar for way cheaper then
purchasing one for $1200+ yikes! I want
to have a kegerator, minifridge, and a
fully stocked liquor shelf to mix all
those good drinks when we throw some
small parties. I think that is the only
thing I am going to be dissapointed in,
the fact I wont be able to throw parties
like I have been at my parents house.
Those are usually 50+ people and in the
apartment it will probably be a max of
15 or so. Oh well, apartment life is
good.
Since I am having all of these expenses
come up I am going to have to work a lot
this summer like 45-50 hours a week and
get that good overtime. If i worked
about 45 hours a week, then I would be
making roughly $1456.40 every two weeks,
that's $2912.80 every month and the
summer is like 3 months long so thats
roughly speaking $8738.40 that's not
including taxes though. Taxes suck so I
figure they will take no more than 30%
out of my paychecks so that would leave
me with $6116.88 for entire summer. Blah
I hate taxes there should be a law
against taxing students, we are already
poor as shit and they want to take our
money. Well considering they take out a
huge amount of my money for taxes each
paycheck I should get a nice refund
check april next year, especially since
I have all these friends taking
accounting I am sure they can figure
some cool wacky shit out to get me more
of my money back lol.
I am also going to have to take a summer
class most likely, and as far as next
semester goes I am going to be hurting
lol. I do think I will transfer to the
Towson Best Buy in the Fall that will
take out a lot of drive time and save me
money on gas, except for when I go see
Michelle :P I registered for five
